Final Project Reflections

This project was not as bad as i thought it was going to be.  It went alot smoothly once i figured out the programs I was using.  I think with the help of this technology, I could be able to present information to my class more excitingly.  I believe that iMovie will soon replace power point in classrooms.  Now with my knowledge of these programs I will defiantly use them in my future classrooms and a teaching tool.  The only trouble I could see was the struggle to figure out the system and how to publish your projects.

Both audio and visual videos

When I started doing the last two assignments of the project, I ran into many difficulties.  At first it took me about 3 to 4 hours to just figure out how to use iMovie.  Then, after I figured out iMovie i had a problem transferring the picture I had on my computer to the iMovie media.  I had to put them through iPhoto to get them on there.  After figuring that out the project was not that difficult.  The transitions from slide to slide was so much easier with the help of iMovie.  I was able to do alot of editing because of iMovie that i feel like some other programs were not able to do.  All in all the project wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be.

Audio Recording Reflection

The audio recording that I did was a recording of a children's book.  I had my colleague Richard Manzi read aloud the book entitled " If You Give A Mouse a Cookie."  We really didn't encounter to many problems while recording.  The hardest part was figuring out how to set up garage band.  Our first recording we did had the metronome in the background, which inhibited you from hearing Richie clearly.  After I figured out how to get that off, the project went smoothly and I was able to finish in no time.
